Good morning. Sitting here figuring out what I’m going to do next. Weekends are like that…not much structure.
Yesterday when I was puttering outside, I noticed a few bare spots in the grass. Maybe an effect of not much snow cover. I’m not going to get in to the whole topsoil and reseeding, etc. Maybe try to do something with the bare spots. Lawn care was Skip's job. I just did the fun stuff like working with flowers, etc.
Have a nice Saturday everyone, and May the Fourth be with you!

Good morning, Cheryl. Beautiful morning....sunny and going to almost 70..but a rain shower coming in for late afternoon and into the evening. Just got back from the bank, and now waiting for my dryer to get done, and then nothing much planned. SIL takes care of my lawn now....or oldest GS if he happens to come home at the time (he loves to mow) LOL It was always something I never gave a thought to...like you that was DH's job. Be safe and well everyone...May 4...."and also with you", Cheryl.

Good morning. May the 4th be with you too. 😂 This morning when I looked at my phone and saw what day it is, that was the 1st thing that came to my mind. Sun is finally shining, earlier it looked like rain but that's supposed to happen tonight. So this girl is heading outdoors. Just got home from the store as I needed eggs. I've been holding off grocery shopping since a brand new Aldis store opens in 4 days, only 3 blocks away. I also received a $10.00 coupon in the mail yesterday as a Grand opening special. I won't be heading over there the first couple days because I'm sure the crowds will be horrible. Enjoy your day

Good morning everyone It is still cold and gloomy here, no rain in the forecast though.
The yard is a thing that will need working on at the new house. I am not sure how much we want to do there. I don't want to add a bunch of work to maintain it . Maybe a few shrubs and a patio somewhere.
I have no plans for today. I will probably pack a couple more boxes and take a nap.
Sending prayers for all that need them, an extra prayer for Jojo's daughter to heal quickly and completely. Have a great day.

Here is the Celebration of Life Handout I also wanted to add the poem that we selected to be included in the death announcement. God's Garden Must be BeautifulGod looked around the garden, and found an empty space. He looked down upon the earth, and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you, and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful for he only takes the best. He knew that you were weary, and he knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never, be well on earth again. He saw the roads were getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb. So he closed your weary eyelids, and whispered peace be thine.
