Good morning dreary Monday. But, I think the rains have stopped...and the temps are headed for the 70's for the rest of the week. Just changing sheets this morning (I think my day is Tuesday though). Not sure what I will do after that. Will be back later...be safe and well and hugs for all who needs one.

Good morning. Still raining hereand I'm having a hard time convincing myself not to snooze in my chair. Listening to the rain does that to me. My perennials are coming up and the grass is getting nice and green and it's looking like spring. Still waiting for maintenance to come get this huge globe from the outdoor light, thats sitting in my living room. Put off doing wash this morning so I'd be home to let them in. If they don't come by lunchtime I'm taking it to the office, just to get it out of here. I'm thinking about painting something, but not sure what yet. A plain white canvas can be pretty intimidating when you don't know what to put on it. Maybe I'll just start smearing colors until my imagination kicks in. Enjoy your day

Good morning everyone. We have sunshine right now. The forecast says 19C (66F) this afternoon but cold and maybe snow towards the end of the week. Good grief.
I noticed that my tulips and daffodils are poking through the ground. Maybe we will see some flowers before we move.
I was remembering all the times we had to move when we had small children. Oh my, what a circus that was! I wish I had some of that energy now.
I saw two robins hopping around in the yard this morning. I guess spring is really on it's way despite a bit of snow in the forecast.
My friend Billy used to say "Don't forget to say I love you, people don't know unless you tell them". I love you all .
Sending prayers for all that need them , enjoy your day.

Thank you, Caroline...your friend was a smart guy! Good luck with your painting, Spunky. You do beautiful work, so I know the "idea" will pop in your head soon. Sheets all changed and washed and ready to go. Was starting to get sunny, now it is cloudy again, so not sure if the rain is coming or not. Have a great Monday everyone....and "I Love You".

Good afternoon. I almost made it here before noon. Busy Monday as usual. And I stopped at the furniture store to check on their Norwegian chairs. The one we bought there fifteen years ago is showing its age and I’m afraid it’s going to completely fall apart…hopefully I won’t be sitting it in at the time.
I have lilies pushing up through the ground. The hydrangea has leaves, but last year's May freeze stunted it. I love seeing new growth.
Caroline, I like the way your friend Billy thinks. We're a family of huggers, and saying I love you.
It’s sprinkling out, so definitely tea time and my book. Have a nice afternoon everyone.

I will get used to checking in daily! I went back and read the rest of Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays posts and now here I am. I have been busy the past couple of days I can't believe so many days have gone by since I posted here. Thank you all for welcoming me. Getting ready to watch the Voice, I don't watch much on TV, but my dad and I watch that together. Will try to post tomorrow in the morning.

I'm glad you and your Dad can share watching the Voice together. I'm sure will help you both to get through the loss of your Mom. When my mom passed my Dad had such a rough time getting used to living by himself. At one point he contemplated suicide, which I'm so glad he didnt go through with it.
We had a gorgeous sunset tonight. Made me miss living closer to Lake Michigan.

Thank you Spunky. Sorry to hear that your Dad had a hard time adjusting to life without your Mom. I went to grief share after my husband passed away and I remember a gentleman that had been married over 50 years and it was really a hard adjustment for him. My husband was not well for years before he passed, I feel that helped with my transition, that and knowing he wasn't suffering anymore.
I'm off to prayer breakfast at my church. We pray over the requests that came in this past week. I'll try to be back later in Tuesday's post.
