It's right at 32 here right now...but no frost (that I can see anyway) Not even on the neighbor's roof. Maybe tonight, they say. Little known fact....when you graduate Meteorologist School, the last test is: "can you say "maybe"? LOL Read this in some "College Bickerings". LOL
Just got out of the shower, and now to get dressed and have something to eat. Not sure what is happening today, other than oldest GS is home for the week-end. Hug time!
Watched Billy Joel (again) last night...and wow...finally got it right and he wasn't interrupted with ads right in the middle of songs all night. Sure took me back.
Be safe and well..will be back.

Good morning. I woke up a tiny bit later than usual, and it seems if I sleep too much…even half an hour more…I wake up with scramble brain. The yard guys showed up early and I’m not used to commotion in the yard at that hour. That added to scramble brain. Daughter and granddaughter will be here later so that will be a nice improvement to the day.
I watched the Billy Joel concert again last night too, woogie. I couldn’t help but compare the young Piano Man you posted yesterday to the one last night…pretty good for forty years later. And the high notes to An Innocent Man were good, too.
Time to get moving. Have a nice Saturday everyone.

Good morning. Sunny but cold morning. Missing sitting outside drawing at the picnic table already. Had 3 days last week but it's been too cold and rainy lately. At least it's not snow. Watched Billy Joel last night and was amazed he has no hair, but his singing voice was still good. I really enjoyed it but fell asleep around 10:30.....way past my bed time. Like Cheryl I slept a half hour longer then usual and have a bad case of "I don't feel like doing anything." Guess I'll go soak my Ole bones in a nice hot bath. Enjoy your day

Good morning everyone. We have sunshine and it is supposed to be a lovely day.
We got a good offer on our house last night and accepted it. We also decided to accept the seller's amendment to our offer on the house in Melfort so conditions can be removed. We are asking for the possession date to be moved to May 15th because the buyers of our current house need a quick possession date. I think they sold their house in the city. They will arrange for a home inspection on this house as well. It is pretty much a miracle to list and sell a house in Naicam in 12 days . They usually sit on the market for at least a few months. Fingers crossed that their are no hiccups on either house deal . It looks like it will all go through.
Crystal called last night to tell us that the staff at Tom's nursing home seem very caring. The social worker helped them them organize some things and filled out paper work and did a lot of explaining then they met with his in house medical team. The facility is very nice and they have a roof top garden and patio on Tom's floor. Crystal was impressed and it seems to have put her mind at rest a bit.
Harry is off to a tournament in Nipawin today and I am thinking I should pack and organize my craft stuff. Except the current projects I have going... lol
Sending prayers for all that need them, have a good day

Congratulations Caroline! So many details to work through. I hope everything falls into place for you.
What a comfort it must be to Crystal and Tom to have him settled in a place where he will receive good care and have caring staff looking out for him.
Spunky, I guess our bodies are programmed to wake up at a certain time…maybe because of so many years of early rising to go to work.
