It's getting cold out ~ time to bring out the crock pot ~ dutch over ~ or soup pans
Here is one of my favorite soups to make on cold chilly days
1 - 2 boneless, skinless chicken breast (can use 1 canned chicken in broth) 1 medium onion ~ chopped 4 carrots ~ sliced 4 ribs celery ~ sliced 4 large potatoes ~ peeled and chopped 2 cans cream corn 1 can whole corn ~ drained 2 cans cream of chicken soup
In a sauté pan with 1 tablespoon butter cook celery, onions, carrots until tender. Place in crock pot Cook chicken in 4 cups water until done. Remove from pan and place in large crock pot. Add potatoes Mix soup and 2 soup cans of water ~ add to crock pot. Cook over low until potatoes are tender. Salt and pepper to taste.

Thank you Aunt Budee, I am going to try this. I have some cooked chicken in the freezer that should work great with this recipe.
