Good Morning....foggy, foggy this morning...temps going into the 60's (it hit 75 yesterday), and then going to get colder the rest of the week. Not sure what I am doing today....can't seem to get up and going...but, not going anywhere anyway. Be safe and well...will return for a chat.

Good morning. Boy did we have one heck of a hail storm last night!. The sky was beautiful though, and my son and grandson were out in it as usual. Yesterday I heard on the news, it made it to 73 degrees, but here it was supposed to be 63, but my car said it was 53. That’s about all the excitement here Enjoy your day

Egads...I'm sorry about the hail, Spunky. We were under a warning, but it all went around us. Hope you have nice weather today.

Good morning. It's grey and gloomy. But we were lucky to have two sunny days in a row in this April-showers month. And I got to see the super moon.
Spunky, I had forgotten how scary hail can be until last week when I thought it was going to crack my garden window.
I already did 7 Little Words this morning. Some days they seem super easy (today) and sometimes I really have to think. That's my excitement for today.
Have a nice Wednesday all.

LOL Cheryl....I try to wait until afternoon to do 7 Little Words (something to look forward to), but am doing it earlier and earlier. Somedays I look at it and think, "wow, hard today". Then go back later and it is easy, easy. I guess my brain has to have time to wake up.

Good morning. Not sure I'm ready to get up, but I think the coffeepot was yelling, "Turn me on." I could go on with that suggestive remark, but decided not to. Just so you know. Lol Woogie, you sound about as excited about this day as I do. I'm curious to see how the world changes "after this is all over" (a phrase my 4-yo dgd uses). Think about all we've been thru: presidential assassination, attempted assassination, Cold War with Russia, Vietnam War, all the Third World Wars that have been going on for years, AIDS, 9-1-1, volcano eruption in Washington, two impeachment hearings, Watergate. Feel free to add to. Each changed us in some small or big way. Wonder if more people will continue to use face masks like in Hong Kong. Maybe someone will invent a better air filtration system for our houses or cars. Spunky, your son and gs lead an exciting life. Bet they got some good pics. Cheryl, I did the 7 Little Words this morning, too. Yep, exciting lives. I have to get the trash bin from the street. That's the only "have to." Think I'll go mail a couple of payments at the p.o. And the thrills continue!

Good Morning.....
Woke up to blinding sun this morning but, that's all gone now. We had a doozie of a storm last night!!! I think it was hailing also but, the lightning was so bright I wasn't about to get out of bed to look!!
Not sure what I am doing today. Going to try to make a home made b-day banner for GD today....we'll see how that turns out!
Did you see yesterday that our "child" president fired all the Inspector Generals that were to be the oversight committee for all this money for the coronavirus relief? Now he's going to oversee all $2.2 trillion?!!! So scared for our country right now......some mornings I'm scared to get out of bed! That's my rant for today!
Have a good day all...

Hi everyone, again. Hope you all have great days and, "when this is all over" seems like a good idea, Bunkie. I still can't wrap my brain around "it". Remember all the events (or studying them)...never remember being so ashamed of our Country until now though. **************************** And, read this yesterday: (on the Huffington/Post) "President Donald Trump reportedly owns a stake in a company that produces hydroxychloroquine, the anti-malaria drug he has repeatedly touted as a coronavirus treatment even though his experts say there’s no strong evidence it works. Trump “has a small personal financial interest” in Sanofi, the French drugmaker that makes Plaquenil, the brand-name version of hydroxychloroquine, The New York Times reported Monday. In addition, Sanofi’s largest shareholders include a mutual fund company run by major Republican donor Ken Fisher, the paper said. Trump’s three family trusts, as of last year, each had investments in a mutual fund whose largest holding was Sanofi, according to the Times. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross also had ties to the drugmaker, the Times reported. Trump’s “assertiveness” in promoting the drug contrary to the recommendation of top health experts “has raised questions about his motives,” the Times noted. " ************************* Sorry for the politics...but, I don't feel that it is politics anymore...it is the grim reaper coming after way too many of good, good people.

I agree totally with you Woogie! I really deep down in my heart think he is trying to destroy this country!! You can't act and do the things he is doing if you truly love this country!!
I also am ashamed of the way America has become......

Good morning! It's 56 here going to 62 and cloudy, think it suppose to be a rainy day here. We had some storms last night but don't think they were very bad, although some on FB said they were bad! I didn't sleep good at all last night! Pretty sure a nap in my chair is in my future! Then have to work later! I need to go to the bank, drive thru of course! No plans till work! The dripping had stopped but was back last night I think just in the one spot though! There not bad drips, it's just annoying! Have a good day!

Kaybet, with all those drips, I'd be afraid of mold. A dripping ceiling isn't normal. Please keep after them.

Good morning everyone. We ended up getting about an inch of snow yesterday and I am pretty sure it all came down in less than 5 minutes. we could hardly see across the street. I looked at the forecast and today is 'a chance of snow flurries' and tomorrow is 'sunny' I am debating as to whether we should go to Melfort for groceries. "Flurries" may keep more people home than a sunshiny day.
Isn't it something the way both our governments have turned around their advice on wearing masks? Trudeau said yesterday in his address that the cloth masks "may be helpful in some situations, like when someone is speaking moistly to you" ROFL!! I believe that for a time some people will continue to wear masks 'after this is all over'. If Covid 19 goes the same route as H1N1 did , it may return from time to time ,especially over the first while. Our best hope is for a vaccine and that usually takes a year to get in place.
I guess I better have my coffee and decide whether today is grocery day or not. We usually do one big 'stock up' shopping trip in the city every month but I don't think we will be doing that. The prices are much higher in the smaller centers but I guess we will have to get used to paying more for a while.
Sending prayers for all that need them, enjoy your day.

Well we got the shopping done as well as a list for Pat. We had burgers from the Dairy Queen drive through which we ate in the truck in a parking lot. Oh my gosh I enjoyed that burger and fries lol! We haven't had a fast food meal in a very long time.

Oh, Caroline...I have been so hungry for a "bought" hamburger and fries. Sounds so good. Did you have a Shake or frosty with them?

I knew it, Woogie!! I just knew that bottom dweller had financial and personal gain with the company that manufactured that drug he keeps pushing. I am glad that really strong storm went around you.
That powerful hail storm sounds really scary, Spunky. I bet your grandson and son got some really awesome pictures.
I'm glad you did get the chance to see the super moon, Cheryl. It was over cast here, so I didn't. Was it actually pink?
Bunkie, you gave me a lot to think about. I remember how different major events have changed things. I wonder what changes this virus will bring.
I am sorry that you are seeing heavy rain today and couldn't go out and read today, Lyn. I love books that are hilarious!
That sounds like the kind of thunderstorm that incredibly scares me. Happy birthday to your DGS. How did the banner come out?
That dripping sounds very concerning, Kaybet. I am concerned not only about the damage it must be doing but also that it could create a mold problem. I hope Maintenance gets it together and finds out where that leaking is coming from and fix it asap. I hope you got in a nap.
I am glad that you didn't get more snow then what you did, Caroline. I'm glad you were able to go shopping and to pick up groceries for Pat. Hamburger and fries sure sounds really good.
As much as I would McDonald's Chicken McNuggets with Sweet and Sour Sauce and fries right now, I have been craving Chinese food.
POSSIBLE GOOD NEWS: Tonight on ABC's 6:30 news they were talking about a pill that may help people who have the Corona Virus and to also prevent people from getting the Virus. The pill is showing some positive signs of preventing the germs from clinging to lung tissue where it always goes when a person is exposed. Lab tests are showing the pill is preventing it from clinging to lung tissue in the labs and they are planning on trying tests in mid Spring on humans.
Due to Feathers being very fussy and is currently rejecting a certain type of cat food less then she does others, I once again made a trip to the store to stock up some on it. The store now has arrows showing the direction to go and to confine aisles to being only one way. I got home and realized that I once again forgot to get bleach. What I have will just have to last. There was occasional sun today and tomorrow it will be down pours and maybe a little snow. A front tooth that I broke a little bit off it last week, has broken a little more today. Fortunately, it doesn't hurt because I do not want to go to a dentist during all of this.

Teluria now you have me craving chicken nuggets sweet & sour sauce and fries! YUM! I'm absolutely bored silly. Had a high temperature of 46 and it's raining again. Just heard the weather guesser say, plunging below normal temperatures with SNOW in the forecast. All I can say is, I am SO glad I didn't listen to my neighbors, when they said "oh your flowers will be just fine if you rake the leaves off the beds, been so nice, we aren't going to have any more snow!" If it didn't rain yesterday and today, the leaves in my flower beds would be gone. Whew!

The nearest McDonald's isn't far from me but the fact the city once again shut down the road its on for the city's ongoing screwed road work means that I have to drive all over the place to get there and all over the place to get home. If it wasn't for that, I probably would be scraping together chain and visiting McDonald's, Spunky. I'm glad too you didn't listen to your neighbors about your flowers.

Hello! Just got home from work and stopped and filled my tank and had to pick Ed up from fishing! Now I'm eating my taco soup the preacher made! It's ok not my favorite though! Got my laundry folded and put away! Then had to go to the bank, then took some boxes of cheese from Ed over to my ddil! Then run Ed here and there, etc, then went to work! Never did get a nap! It's still nice out like 60. Ok have a good night
